Universal Pictures had a huge Wednesday opening as its movie, "Despicable Me 2," took an estimated $35 million in ticket sales. Now, add $24.5 million from yesterday's holiday sales for a total of about $59.5 million and this will set the film to about $135 to $140 million for the five-day period. Meanwhile, Johnny Depp's "The Lone Ranger" took in $19.5 million for the first two days. It was estimated to take in $60 to $70 million for the first five days.
