Argo took home just one award from the Screen Actors Guild Awards, but it is the most important prize of the night. Besting its biggest competition, Lincoln and Les Miserables, Argo won the trophy for the best performance by a cast in a motion picture, solidifying its chances of winning the Oscars. Interestingly, many of the SAG members also belong to the Academy, and with actors comprising its largest voting bloc, Argo winning this cast award could very well be an indication of an Oscar Best Picture win.
